Illustration Friday: Play & Inspire Me Thursday : Non-Visual Art Form - Music

Copyright 2006 Ratlion

“And the night shall be filled with music, and the cares, that infest the day, shall fold their tents, like the Arabs, and as silently steal away.”
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow quotes (the most popular American Poet in the 19th century, 1807-1882)

“If music be the food of love, play on.”
William Shakespeare quotes (English Dramatist, Playwright and Poet, 1564-1616)

I did this for 'Inspire Me Thurs' a week or two before. It was a last minute entry and since I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to manage a new entry for this week (I'm working on the colour version of 'Capture' and a few other assignments for school) , figured I'd submit it for this week's Illustration Friday.
Besides, its one of my favourite pieces to date (What can I say? I'm an incurable romantic!).
:)
Cheers

This is beautiful...the music, the night, the possibility of romance...and...the cat! What could be better than this combination? Well done!

This is stellar! What a romantic feel in tone! I love the color of the music and the detail of the roses and cat.
