Illustration Friday : Quiet

Feels good to be doing Illustration Friday after nearly 3 weeks! Me and my design class got an opportunity to do the creatives for a shopping festival hosted by the local mall. As the only one specializing in illustration, was in charge of all illustrations...so its been three weeks of purple octopuses (the festival mascot) in various poses :). Oh, and also got to work on a promotional story cum activity book for kids featuring the aforementioned mascot (Feels damn good to see your name in print after the words 'Illustrated by', no matter how small the project! :D ). So, all in all it's been a busy, educational, frustrating and exhilarating 3 weeks.
Hoping to catch up with the topics I missed soon. In the meanwhile, here's my submission for 'Quiet'. It also doubles up as my submission for the Black & Orange Halloween Contest happening here (If you can't be wicked at Halloween, when else can you? :D). As one of the many that posted a spider image in the phobia topic, I must say that this is pure evil humor. Great graphic look. Good luck on the black & orange. I haven't even started to think about that one yet.
